Background
Tom Dwyer’s real estate career spans 25+ years and includes hands-on experience in new market development, acquisition and divestiture and team building and leadership. As Vice President of Store Development at Rite Aid Corporation, he was responsible for the overall development program for the Corporation’s Eastern Division, encompassing approximately 2,800 retail units spread over 20 states and Washington D.C.
Tom crafted his negotiation skills via years of field experience including tours of duty at Fotomat, Taco Bell Corporation and later at Tricon Global Restaurants (YUM Brands), Rite Aid Corporation and Eckerd Drug. His leasing experience covers an array of concepts from traditional shopping centers and malls to freestanding units. Given his background, Tom brings a wealth of relevant experience to the ARES team.
Tom has his MBA, Finance, from Pace University in New York City.
